Bellefonte Hospital and Recovery Center names Paula Hayes Chief Nursing Officer

Addiction Recovery Care (ARC) announced today that Paula Hayes has joined the company as Chief Nursing Officer at Bellefonte Hospital and Recovery Center. As part of ARC’s efforts to offer more comprehensive behavioral and mental health services, Hayes will lead the new facility’s team of nurses caring for clients.

Hayes brings more than three decades of service to ARC’s team. She holds a dual-masters in nursing and healthcare administration (MSN, MHA). Throughout her career, Hayes has worked in hospitals in most areas of nursing, holding roles such as Facility Compliance Officer, Risk Manager, Education Director and Clinical Informaticist.

“I am extremely excited to work with ARC Health Systems at Bellefonte Hospital and Recovery Center,” said Hayes. “To play a role in helping ARC fulfill its mission of creating opportunities for people to discover hope and live their God-given destinies is a very fulfilling and humbling experience.”

ARC has been busy this summer building a top-of-the-industry leadership team for its newly formed hospital division. Hayes joins Tim Hatfield, president of ARC’s hospital division, and Johnathan Frazier, Bellefonte Hospital and Recovery Center’s Community CEO.

“Paula’s healthcare experience, compassion and dedication to ARC’s mission will be instrumental in serving our clients at Bellefonte,” said Frazier. “Nursing is foundational to everything we do, and we are grateful for her leadership.”

Renovations are underway at the new facility. The psychiatric portion of Bellefonte Hospital and Recovery Center is expected to open near the end of 2023 with the addiction treatment facility to open soon after.
